I've received a few book suggestions from readers in the last few days. Thanks to Kelly DeShane and Mark Crotty for their contributions!
Kelly DeShane (Director of Admission at Tower Hill School) recommends: Leadership: Essential Selections on Power, Authority, and Influence, by Barbara Kellerman. Dr. Kellerman presented at the SSAT meeting in Boston and her discussion of great books, essays and speeches on leadership was very enlightening.

Mark Crotty (Head of School St. John's Episcopal School) recommends: Hamlet's Blackberry by William Power. While on the surface it's about our relationship with screens, it has just as much to do with the relationship between our internal and external selves.
